Franklin’s Finest: Home Gym, Kitchen Remodel, and Screened Porch Addition

Neighborhood: Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee

Project Summary:

What They Wanted: Our clients wanted to update and upgrade three areas of their existing home: converting their attic into a home gym, renovating their cramped kitchen, and enhancing their outdoor living space. We’ve worked with this client before, and were thrilled to help them realize their next vision.

What We Did: We started by converting the unused attic into a convenient home gym. Dan suggested adding a skylight, which brightened the space with natural light and enhanced its functionality.

Their previous kitchen was cramped, so we worked to maximize the space while preserving some of the elements they wanted to keep. The renovation included a pot filler, under-cabinet lighting, a stainless steel range hood, and a luxurious home bar with a separate bar sink and wine fridge.

The screened porch was upgraded with stamped concrete flooring, unique board and batten accents, a flat-screen TV, and an outdoor grilling and fire pit area, making it a versatile space usable year-round.
