Nathan Deal
Project Manager
Nathan started his construction career while attending MTSU, working for the university’s Construction and Maintenance Department. From there, he moved into commercial construction, doing remodel projects for Kroger and Vanderbilt University. He later made the move to the restoration side of construction, focusing on disaster recovery. After gaining experience across different areas of the industry, he started his own company, but during that time, realized he missed working for a larger company—the structure, back office support, field support, and the opportunity to take on bigger, more intricate projects. At The Dan Company, he found a culture and business model that aligned with his own values. Nathan enjoys the creativity and problem-solving that construction demands, and loves the challenge of turning something old and broken into something beautiful. He’s known for being self-motivated, driven, passionate, and easygoing, bringing a balanced and focused approach to every project. When he’s not on the job, you’ll find him riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, diving, camping, climbing, or at a ballgame. A huge fan of baseball and soccer, he also loves traveling and experiencing new cultures through their cuisine.
